Bachelor of Arts in Sport and Recreation Management

This significant prepares students for jobs in handling organizations in the recreation, fun, and leisure sectors. The mixing of business and kinesiology programs was designed to allow students to get results in an extensive assortment of management jobs with profession flexibility.

SM 1510 (KI 1510) Introduction to Sport and Recreation Management

This introductory-level course is designed as a synopsis associated with the theoretical disciplines and professions in sports and fun management. It is recommended that students majoring in Sports and Recreation Management take this program during their first year. This program will orient students utilizing the options in management, management, guidance, and management in private, community, commercial, and other configurations in recreations, relaxing, and leisure sectors.

SM 2130 (KI 2130/ PS 2230) Psychology of Sport and Movement

This program requires knowledge and training of emotional abilities to improve sport performance and physical action activity. General content places examined feature motivation, confidence, arousal, interest, personality, anxiety, coping, personal impacts, and psychobiological aspects because they impact individuals in competitive and leisure activities, also physical fitness, workout and wellness tasks.

SM 2750 (KI 2750) business and management of Sport and Recreation

Designed to provide the pupil with a summary of theoretical and useful the different parts of administration in various sport and sports venues. Using situation researches, visitor speakers, and existing study, the pupil will analyze organizations including interscholastic and intercollegiate programs, conferences, and other recreation businesses. Necessity: SM 1510 or KI 1110.
